When I Grow Up

Many students grow up hearing about jobs but rarely get to ask professionals what those careers are really like. This project changes that by asking simple questions: What do you actually do each day? How did you get there? What skills matter most?

Professionals from many fields share their stories, including the challenges, surprises, and lessons they learned along the way. These conversations help students understand that careers are not always straight lines.

Sometimes plans change. Sometimes new opportunities appear. But curiosity, learning, and persistence often open doors people never expected.
