Creative STEM System Episodes- Q3 2026

Episode 1: Everything is a System

🌎 Welcome to Creative STEM!

I'm Joanne, and we're dedicated to understanding how the real world works. Whether we're talking about 🐔 chickens, 🍞 sourdough, 🏈 football, 🤖 artificial intelligence, or 📜 history...everything around us is part of a system.

The challenge is that most of us were taught individual subjects without learning how those subjects connect.  In this first episode, we're going to start with one simple idea: 💡 Everything is a system.

Once you begin seeing systems, you'll never look at everyday life the same way again.

🧪 Let's get started!

Episode 2: Finding Order in Chaos

Last episode, we explored the idea that everything around us is a system. But knowing systems exist isn't enough. The next challenge is learning how to recognize them. 👀

🌪️ In this episode, I'll share the journey that led to Creative STEM and how I learned to stop seeing chaos and start seeing patterns. 🔍

Because once you begin finding order learning becomes a whole lot easier. 💡

🧪 Let's run the experiment.

Episode 3: Intro to Living Systems and Chicken Land

So far, we've talked about seeing systems 👀 and finding order within them. Now it's time to put those ideas into practice. 🧪

Experiment 001: Chicken Land.

When I brought home my first chicks, I wasn't trying to build a YouTube channel or influence anything. I was simply trying to answer one question: Could I successfully build and maintain a healthy backyard flock, even though I'd never done it before?

What I didn't realize at the time was that Chicken Land would become the very first complete experiment behind Creative STEM. Along the way, I discovered that raising chickens isn't really about chickens. It's about understanding living systems. 🌱

🐣 Let's step into the first experiment that helped shape everything Creative STEM has become.

Take a Look at the Chicken Land Experiment

Episode 4: Building Community

Building a Public Laboratory for Understanding the Real World 🌱 Creative STEM is officially becoming more than an idea.

In Episode 4, I’m sharing the mission behind this work, why I document everyday experiments, and how we can build a freely available library of practical knowledge together.

This isn’t just about creating content. It’s about investing in a different way of learning—one built on curiosity, experimentation, reflection, and community. 🧪
