Meet Joanne
Hi, I’m Joanne Werner.
My professional background is in technology systems, project management, and workflow design. I’ve spent years helping organizations understand complex systems, improve processes, and navigate technical challenges.
Along the way, I noticed something interesting: many of the ideas people struggle to understand aren’t actually difficult — they’re simply rarely explained in ways that connect to real-world experience.
Creative STEM was created to explore those connections.
Inspired by the curiosity-driven learning of educators like Fred Rogers, LeVar Burton, and Bill Nye, Creative STEM examines how science, technology, engineering, and mathematics shape everyday life.
Through experiments, projects, case studies, and reflection, Creative STEM helps curious thinkers of any generation better understand the systems shaping the world around them.
